| Our History |
| The school started in 1999 as a local internet provider and Internet Café in San Jose Antique. Internet was not very viable so the Internet Café expanded it services as Computer for Kids activity center. As a computer service provider the Café served as a desktop publishing office producing computer print outs for programs, stickers, posters and other encoding services. |
| To further expand the business, the owners though of setting up a Non-stock/non-Profit Corporation in the name: Antique Computer Center (ACC)and conducted private tutorial |
| services for students from colleges and working professionals. ACC was and still is committed to make computer education affordable and simple for a layman to understand. |
| The Antique Computer Center, Inc. applied in TESDA or Technical Education and Skills Development Authority for accreditation of their courses. In the year 2001, ACC started community services in the different high schools in the province. On this year, the Board of Directors decided to change the name of the Center into Advance Central College (ACC) as an educational institution. Before the end of 2001, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued a Registration Certificate bearing the name Advance Central College, Inc. |
| The computer courses were issued permits by the TESDA through UTPRAS or the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System. On this same year, in order for ACC to be relevant and to answer the need of the community, ACC applied for a Seafarer Course major in Stewarding. In 2003, as an answer once more to demand, ACC offered a 1 year Caregiver Course. |
| Today, ACC is growing and still offering relevant and short term technical/vocational courses to serve the people of Antique. ACC also assists its graduates in finding employment opportunities. |
